The Doggie D'tail Shop strives to give great customer service and a great experience. In that vain we  suggest that you arrive a bit early for your appointment, so we can discuss your pet's styling and answer any questions you may have.

Appointments arriving more than 20 minutes late may have to be rescheduled and or a late fee of $15.00.

We do NOT sedate pets for grooming and prefer pets NOT to be sedated. If your pet needs sedation please have a vets office with a grooming dept. groom them , that will be in the best interest for your pet. I reserve my right to refuse or not  continue to groom a pet, that I deem aggressive, or for health, or age issues.

Pets with stitches, open wounds or communicable diseases cannot be groomed until cleared by your vet. 

Any pet that is badly matted may have to be put into a "smoothie" clip. I will always do my best, but the safety, and comfort of  your pet comes before cosmetic desires. I will discuss with you the possibilty of a "smoothie" at check in.

Kindly give 24 hours notice for cancellations in addition to this policy a one time no show with no notice is permitted/per year,  however all other no shows will be charged a fee equal to the price of  missed appointment. If no showing becomes a constant.your pet will not be resheduled.

**New clients we can not take new clients in evening or Saturday appointments,unless they can commit to a regular grooming schedule appropriate to thier pets grooming needs and pre book at end of grooming session. Evenings and Saturdays are very popular and busy. I book differently for these days/times and that is why it has to be pre book clients only.

This does not include NEW BATH ONLY clients.

Inclement weather: The Doggie D'tail Shop may have to reschedule your appointment due to bad weather, and will do our best to reschedule your appointment ASAP.

The Doggie D'tail Shop accepts cash and checks at this time. Returned checks: There will be a $35 dollar return check fee added to the grooming fee.

Please  pick up your pet before the end of work day.( End of day is when last scheduled client goes home)  Any pets still in the shop after hours will be subject to a pet sitting fee of $6.00/ per half hour.
