Simply put I love dogs and cats and out of this love, I became a pet groomer. I love working with pets, and am happy that I am able do this work.
The pet grooming industry is growing by leaps and bounds and there is so much to be learned. In my quest to stay on top of things I do participate in continuing education several times a year.
This consists of going to trade shows to learn about new products and taking classes and seminars with some of this countries top groomers, to keep up to date with new styles, techniques, skin, coat care and the health and safety of pets.
I also love to watch competition grooming, and am planning to go into the competition ring myself in the future.
I live in Pennsburg along with my spoiled pets. I have Ruby Lei a Shih Tzu , Hollywood, a Schnauzer/Border collie cross, she is in training for socialization as she was born 'ferel' but she is coming around, and a shorthair pointer Dakota. I also have a Nanday conure "Whomangoknees" 'Who' for short, and a couple of kitties.
